From 1st September 2012 the 4th Didactic Circle of Frosinone has been transformed into Comprehensive School 4; it operates in the Municipality of Frosinone. IC Frosinone is made up of n. 5 school complexes, of which n. 1 first grade secondary school complex, n. 2 primary school complexes and n. 2 kindergarten complexes.
The aims of the educational path identified by the institute are:
1) enhancement and enhancement of language skills, with reference to Italian as well as to the English and other languages of the European Union, also through the use of the Content language integrated learning methodology
2) enhancement of mathematical-logical and scientific skills
3) enhancement of skills in musical practice and culture, in art and in art history, in cinema, in techniques and in the production and dissemination of images and sounds, also through the involvement of museums and others public and private institutions operating in these sectors 4) development of skills in the field of active and democratic citizenship through the enhancement of intercultural education and peace, respect for differences and dialogue between cultures, support for the assumption of responsibility as well as solidarity and care for common goods and awareness of rights and duties; enhancement of legal and economic-financial knowledge and self-entrepreneurship education 5) development of responsible behaviour inspired by the knowledge and respect for legality, environmental sustainability, landscape heritage, heritage and cultural activities
6) literacy to art, techniques and media of production and diffusion of images
7) enhancement of motor disciplines and development of behaviours inspired by a healthy lifestyle, with particular reference to nutrition, physical education and sport, and attention to the protection of the right to study by students practicing competitive sports
8) development of students’ digital skills, with regard to computational thinking, the critical and conscious use of social networks and media as well as production and links with the world of work
9) strengthening of laboratory methodologies and laboratory activities
10) prevention and contrast of early school leaving, of all forms of discrimination and of bullying, including IT; strengthening of school inclusion and the right to study of pupils with special educational needs through individualized and personalized courses also with the support and collaboration of the socio-health and educational services of the territory and sector associations and the application of guidelines to promote the right to study of the pupils adopted, issued by the Ministry of Education, University and Research on 18 December 2014
11) enhancement of the school intended as an active community, open to the territory and able to develop and increase interaction with families and the local community, including third sector organizations and businesses
